The starting point for this community discussion on overlapping issues of education, parenting and social justice is Dr. Marian Wright-Edelman’s book, The Measure of Our Success: A Letter to my Childen and Yours.
The conversations at earlier events in this series have been thoughtful and informative, and this final event, which will be led by Dr. Ode Ofunniyin, Professor of Anthropology at the College of Charleston, will undoubtedly be lively and poignant as well.
