Over the next 50 years the greatest wealth creation on earth will be driven by people who develop solutions for humanity and the planet. The main genesis of these solutions will be collaboratives of citizens who out of their own necessity will need to create socially, economically and environmentally sustainable communities.
USCOIC’s “Future Impact Leaders” program is designed to provide all Charleston residents with the knowledge, information, contacts, tools, context and where appropriate capital they require to become social and environmental entrepreneurs. Through this program everyone will have the option to participate in and benefit (financially) from developing the solutions their own communities need.
USCOIC also runs an Impact Incubator specifically for Social and Environmental Entrepreneurs wishing to scale their initiatives across America and beyond.
Commencing September 14th 2016 and running through April 26th 2017, the class is held Wednesday evenings from7pm – 8:30pm at the Wells Fargo Auditorium, College of Charleston School of Business, 5 Liberty Street, Charleston, SC.
The class will feature local, national and international experts from social and environmental entrepreneurship, impact investing, scaling, professional services, social enterprises and more. Attendees already registered include angel investors, impact investors, community leaders, community residents, social and environmental entrepreneurs and local business leaders.
