A luncheon reception for the Master Fiber Artists of the “9th Annual African American Fiber Arts Exhibit” part of the North Charleston Arts Festival.
This year’s exhibit celebrates the life and inspiration of Dr Maya Angelou. Join many of the 40 Master Fiber Artists from around the country whose work helped to create this special exhibit on view at North Charleston City Hall May 1st –June 30th.
The event, which takes place at Unity of Charleston, 2535 Leeds Ave, costs $25 to attend, features art, speakers and entertainment, including Natalie Daise of “Gullah Gullah Island” fame, as well as other exciting surprises.
Lowcountry Lunch will be from noon to 1:45.
After the program the public is invited to an Artists show/sale, from 1:30pm to 4pm.
