SHARE FAIRS – THE FAQs
WHAT IS A SHARE FAIR?
SHARE FAIRS are free community events focused on giving, getting, and gratitude. Think of them like big garage sale where everything is FREE. Let’s share and re-home stuff with one another this season. It’s good for the planet and good for our spirits.
WHAT ARE THE RULES?
The rules of these “drop-in” events are simple: Bring stuff to rehome that you think someone would actually want; Get some nice used stuff for free ; Be grateful. That’s it.
HOW CAN FOLKS PARTICIPATE:
- Mark your calendars!
- Gather items to share!
- Tell your friends & co-workers
- Lend us a truck or flatbed trailer for a day
- Volunteer at one of our events
If you would like to help out on the day of the events, we will need VOLUNTEERS for three shifts:
- setting up (8am-10am)
- extra hands (10am-12pm, 1pm-3pm)
- breaking down (3pm-5pm)
We are also looking for FOOD VENDORS & PERFORMERS,
so if you would like to set up shop or perform during one of our events, let us know.
There is no fee to be a vendor. Performances are all donated.
HOW CAN PEOPLE DONATE GOOD STUFF?
There are two options.
- You can bring your items to donate to the event with you. These are drop-in events where new items will arrive throughout the day.
- Or, you can drop off the items in advance. [click here for more drop off details]
