Support is needed to help sustain a Charleston environmental nonprofit that does amazing and inspiring work, but that has recently lost its funding!
The Sustainability Institute‘s work is critical to the Charleston community!
Their mission is two-fold:
- help low-income families save on their energy bills while training a workforce of at-risk youth & veterans for jobs with a 98% placement rate
The Sustainability Institute helps families sustain themselves while reducing our city’s carbon footprint to #SustainCharleston!
By combining environmental work and awareness with economic community development in this way, the Sustainability Institute provides a unique, high-impact service to our community that we should support in any way we can.
