The Charleston Friends of the Library is hosting their second annual book sale of the year!
Friday, June 17th – Sunday, June 19th
Main Library, 68 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401
This special sale will pay tribute to Charleston County Public Librarian Cynthia Graham Hurd who was among the nine victims of a shooting tragedy at Emanuel A.M.E. During the sale, special bookmarks will be given to each patron, and Mother Emanuel A.M.E. memorial prints (see below) from famed local photographer, Michael Kaynard, will be available for purchase with proceeds going towards the Cynthia Graham Memorial Fund.
At the sale, you will find books, DVDs, and CDs, with prices starting at $1 for paperbacks and $3 for hardback books. Items include mysteries, romances, classics, children’s books, local histories, cookbooks and a variety of non-fiction topics. Children’s books start at just $0.50.
SPECIAL pricing will take place on Sunday!
