Support OHM Radio’s Relocation Campaign

From our friends at OHM RADIO…

In a world of mass media, Ohm Radio is Charleston, SC’s listener-supported, non-commercial, community radio station dedicated to serving the Charleston community with a wide range of community perspectives.

Ohm moved to 1503 King Street, inside of Workshop, in 2018 and we have loved growing as a station in such a unique and community focused location. Due to covid, Workshop is closing and we need to relocate very soon.

We need to find a new location, run engineering studies, apply to the FCC, and then move the antenna link and entire studio so that we can continue to serve the community with local music and programming.

In 2019, we had over 300 community members and musicians come to the studio and broadcast their stories and voices on the air. Despite the pandemic, in 2020 we had over 350 local voices on the air. We are committed to reflecting what is happening in Charleston and uplifting the voices of those who are traditionally underrepresented in our media.

Please consider donating. Your support will help us continue to grow as your community station, keep local media independent, and stay focused on issues that matter to Charleston!
