From our friends at Charleston Climate Coalition…
The County Council has once again delayed the County CAP vote. This marks the 4th time in 5 months that the vote has been delayed. The CAP is an important guiding document for investment in green & affordable buildings, public transportation, clean energy, and more. And yet, the county continues to delay action.
Here is how you can help:
-
- Sign the Petition — https://tinyurl.com/chscountycap
- Share the Petition — either directly with friends, through Action Network, or through social media!
- Help Get Business and Organization Sign-ons — if you have a connection to a local business owner or organizational leader, please pass on our letter sign-on page. Business letter; organization letter.
- Reach out to your local County Councilmember and tell them that you support the CAP.
You can also view the entire County CAP at the Charleston Resiliency and Sustainability Dept. website, or check out the CAP Actions.
