Grow Purpose exists to do 2 major things: improve communication and promote collaborations in order to address social and environmental issues facing the Charleston community.
With this in mind, we have transformed GrowPurpose.com into the Lowcountry’s collaborative environmental news network.
Our new platform will amplify the work of local individuals and environmental organizations and make it easier for engaged citizens to stay on top of local environmental issues.
We know a lot of folks are suffering from information overload. We would like to make this simple and automated and work with existing communication channels to streamline access to community information.
We also know that a lot of local organizations spend a lot of time and money getting the word out about their work.
We believe that our free, collaborative platform is a win-win for everyone.
So, here is how you can help…
SUBSCRIBE – We have two lists for you to choose from:
- GP WEEKLY DIGEST – one email, every Monday morning, with a week’s worth of curated content
- GREEN DRINKS – periodic updates on Charleston Green Drinks events
SHARE YOUR NEWS – It takes a lot of work to curate content – the more you “push” content our way, the easier it is for us to serve your organization and the community at large. Here are some ways to share.

Collaboration is the key…
After 20+years of working with nonprofits, businesses, and government entities, we know it is time for a new approach.
Our community is fortunate to have so many brilliant and passionate people working to improve our local and global environment.
But the local nonprofit landscape is littered with redundancy, isolated silos, and poor inter-communications among organizations. We can do better, and we need to do better in order to maximize our collective impact.
GrowPurpose.com is a free tool to help us all do better.
