The start of fall Green Heart programs are just about 2 weeks away and we are still looking for more Green Heart Buddy volunteers to join our team for the upcoming school year. Fall 2022 Green Heart Buddies
Green Heart Buddies play a key role in helping grow our gardens, our community, and our students through volunteering with one of our in-school and/or after-school programs. Being reliable, timely, patient and respectful is a must, as Buddies serve as role models for all of our students!
Green Heart Buddies commit to one of our school garden programs for a semester, volunteering once a week for 1+ hours. They are urban farmers, teachers and mentors, working alongside our students, connecting, encouraging and supporting.
